Full Bloom Garden Report and Visit
From £690
A chance to gain a greater understanding of your garden
Two garden visits of approximately 1 hour each. Visits will take place in a different season, perhaps Spring and Autumn or Summer and Winter.
The first visit and report will be the same as detailed in the Four Seasons
The second visit, approximately 6 months later, will build on the progress and knowledge acquired since the first report. There will be time to focus on specific rewilding projects being planned and on on-going management techniques. Each season in a garden is different so the second visit will also look at up to 3 new areas of wildlife interest for the season. Within 2 weeks of the visit, you will receive an updated “Full Bloom Report”.
For the next four seasons you will receive an email highlighting what’s happening that season for the key features that you have in your garden, including 3 things you can do for the benefit of wildlife in your garden that season.
You will also have access to an email helpline for ad hoc wildlife gardening advice and species identification for 12 months from the first visit.
I can work alongside your gardener, landscaper and/or garden designer to ensure your ongoing and any planned gardening work is focused on wildlife friendly planting and practices.
Rewilding suggestions will be tailored to your interests, for example:
• Habitat creation
• New planting
• Seasonal management / the garden cycle
• Projects with kids
• Problem areas
• Support more pollinators
By the end of the year you will have an excellent understanding of the resources your garden is providing for your local wildlife throughout the year. You will have a roadmap for continuing to increase those resources and some specific plans on how to take that forward. Your garden will be visited by increasing numbers of bees, butterflies, birds and other wildlife.

1. Wildflower survey. A survey recording the native wildflowers present in your garden and their abundance. For small gardens the survey will include the entire garden. For larger gardens the basic survey will be carried out for 45 mins. Data will be collated into infographic showing the species present and highlighting the key benefits of each species. Can be carried out May-August.
2. Flower visiting insect survey. A 45min timed survey to record the species and numbers of insects visiting the flowers in your garden. Data will be collated into infographic illustrating which species are visiting your garden, how abundant they are, and which flowers they are visiting. Can be carried out between May-August, requires a still, sunny day between 10am and 3pm.
3. Camera trap survey. A wildlife camera, triggered by movement, will be positioned in your garden for at least 7 days. Garden visitors can be recorded day and night. Footage will be analysed, and you will be provided with edited footage showing all visitors. Can be carried out year-round though April – October is preferable.
